Let The Music Play Someday this will be over and things will change Like every time before we'll re-arranged And it don't make no difference if we stay out late tonight 'Cause what we miss in the morning yeah it'll be alright I've been gone a while don't ask me where I been You got a few secrets hiding out behind that grin Don't ask me to explain, you'll be hanging on a string I know that you don't post about everything Too much information only brings us down Take in only half of what I say The silence in between says much more Stop singing let the music play And when we wake up we'll wonder what the hell we were thinking It’ll feel messed up but we'll know we're alive And it don't make no difference let somebody else win I know that you don't post about everything Too much information only brings us down Take in only half of what I say The silence in between says more to me Stop singing let the music play

World On Your Shoulders Give me what money can't buy I could give you a million reasons Let's go Let's simplify Stop asking why We can light the darkest corners of our tired minds And all ... all the stars up in the sky are older Then we will ever be So don't worry about another trip around the sun Yeah you're not the only one who's another year older Yeah there is no hurry we can take our time We've just begun Yeah you're not the only one with the world on your shoulders The world won't be as cold As you say Now where together Put the bottle down With imagination We can light the darkest corners of our tired minds And all ... all the stars up in the sky are older Then we will ever be So don't worry about another trip around the sun Yeah you're not the only one who's another year older Yeah there is no hurry we can take our time We've just begun Yeah you're not the only one with the world on your shoulders

Long Way to Go If you want to stay, you can stay And if you want to go, you can go But before you step out on that plane I think there's something you should know We got a long long long long way to go It's been a long time since I've seen your face But though the years it's never been erased The memories are clear like pictures of you So many times I almost called Torn up letters that I have scrawled Fill the pages and the basket with regret If you want to stay, you can stay And if you want to go, you can go But before you step out on that plane I think there's something you should know We got a long long long long way to go Maybe just once we could pretend We'll always be friends ‘til the end That life had worked out differently for us ‘Cause now we're here and I can't believe Anything my eyes can see You're as beautiful now as sun in a blue sky If you want to stay, you can stay And if you want to go, you can go But before you step out on that plane I think there's something you should know We got a long long long long way to go

Put It off a While Just waking up from a long night Watching the sun rise over those hills Smoke is rising from the ashes From the fire we had The cool air hits us as we move From the cabin to the boat by the lake Nobody speaks a word about the mistakes we make But we all know the difference There's a fire in us we can't control For reasons why We don't know We might learn but could we put it off a while We might learn but could we put it off a while And there's ain't much that we get right But we've stopped keeping score 'Cause winning don't mean nothing much Nothing to prove here anymore And if the others feel like running They can run every where If the world can spin out of control I'll still standing right here There's a fire in us we can't control For reasons why We don't know We might learn but could we put it off a while We might learn but could we put it off a while

Feel Everything How many days feel like they're worth repeating? How many days will end with a setting sun? How many nights will hang the moon in the sky? We got as many damn questions As answers for you and I But we don't even know where we are Under the sun and the moon Man there's so much fog But we got time Take a look at those silent stars Let's make the most of these old guitars ‘Cause you can make them sing Make them feel everything How long will we wait before the wait is over? Take the clock off the wall my friend we’ve just begun We can sort it out Got a look in your eye Like nothing can stop you 'Cause nothing stops you and I But we don't even know where we are Under the sun and the moon Man there's so much fog But we got time Take a look at those silent stars Let's make the most of these old guitars ‘Cause you can make them sing Make them feel everything We don't even know where we're going But we'll make plans And though there's miles to go We'll get there I know we can But we don't even know where we are Under the sun and the moon Man there's so much fog But we got time Take a look at those silent stars Let's make the most of these old guitars ‘Cause you can make them sing Make them feel everything

Until We Meet Again Well I've just got one photograph of you Sitting on the step out by the shed there in the garden Knowing that all your dreams would come true We had plans that nobody else knew We would soon be out of here and we'd soon have forgotten Why we even stayed here this long But this photograph’s all I got now So until we meet again I'll be here knowing you got angel wings on I'll be here just wishing you’d walk right back in I'll be here wishing you were here with me love I'll be here until we meet again It's hard for me to face that this is true now Your shoes are on the rack there and your sweater looks forgotten But you're not coming back time won't allow We imagined everything the world could be for us Stolen while we're sleeping dear, you'll never be forgotten Everyday feels like it's just dragging on But this photograph’s all I got now So until we meet again I'll be here knowing you got angel wings on I'll be here just wishing you’d walk right back in I'll be here wishing you were here with me love I'll be here until we meet again Waking up I often see you brushing your hair You've been up the coffee's ready filling the air And sometimes when it's late at night ... here all alone Forgetting I reach over and I pick up the phone, and then I'll be here knowing you got angel wings on I'll be here just wishing you’d walk right back in I'll be here wishing you were here with me love I'll be here until we meet again

Shut Down 03:07
Shut Down I shut down when things get too deep When I get tired I'll sleep When I'm dead on my feet Can't get no relief I shut down We all feel a little burnt this time of year Time to slow it down Maybe rest a while It's been a long year How the hell did we make it? There are days we can't see We can't even tell which way is up Some days run into days And nights into nights Somehow, we dont't know Somehow we end up feeling alright I shut down when things get too deep When I get tired I'll sleep When I'm dead on my feet Can't get no relief I shut down And you show love Like you can love Let's not fight Let the sun shine our way I shut down when things get too deep When I get tired I'll sleep When I'm dead on my feet Can't get no relief I shut down

Leaves All Yellow She been waiting there She don't like the color of her hair Says she don't care But she don't like what she sees in the mirror She goes to the car looks around and Starts tapping on the wheel Just to try and calm her nerves She's standing outside the door There's someone watching from behind the gate Can she escape? The autumn air has turned the leaves all yellow (I hope there's heaven - waiting for the ones that are hurting) She don't want no touch of a man She said that she's been doing fine Alone on this Monday morning ride The autumn air has turned the leaves all yellow I hope there's heaven - waiting for the ones that are hurting Alone on this Monday morning ride The autumn air has turned the leaves all yellow He's been waiting there He always loved the color of her hair Say's he don't care No one ever said that life is fair He approaches her now from across the yard Takes another breath and he hits her hard And he knows that she will never come back again The autumn air has turned the leaves all yellow (I hope there's heaven - waiting for the ones that are hurting) She don't want no touch of a man She said that she's been doing fine Alone on this Monday morning ride The autumn air has turned the leaves all yellow

You Were Here Well we all know we're changing but we're not alone Under the stars if you can imagine it You can make it come true for you You can make things happen but you gotta know I miss the sound of your voice I miss you coming home Make your way back to me Oh I wish you were here Make your way back to me Oh I wish you were here Well we all know what we feel But we cannot see Any pain that others go through That they don't show to you or me So show a little kindness and see Where it gets you Make your way back to me Oh I wish you were here Make your way back to me Oh I wish you were here Make your way back to me Oh I wish you were here Oh I wish you were here How I wish you were here My dear ...
